We explain what we find without assuming prior knowledge. If the watch has an issue worth discussing before we proceed, we ring you and take as long as needed to explain it clearly.
A Fixed Address, Not a Postal Service
You can walk in, see the workshop, and meet the people handling your watch. We think that matters. Your watch is not shipped to a facility you cannot visit.
Realistic Turnaround Times
We do not promise what we cannot deliver. Turnaround estimates are given honestly based on current workload and the nature of each job. We contact you if anything changes.
Professional Expertise
The principal horologist at Masa Kirana completed his formal training through a technical vocational programme and has since spent more than two decades handling a wide variety of mechanical calibres. Supporting team members bring specialist skills in case work, dial restoration, and strap fitting.
This combination means that different aspects of a watch's condition are assessed by people with focused experience in those areas — rather than a single generalist trying to do everything.
The Right Tools, Properly Used
We work with equipment appropriate to the movements we service — including a timing machine for accuracy measurement, ultrasonic cleaning for movement parts, and a dedicated workbench environment that keeps dust and static to a minimum.
None of this is especially new. What matters is that it is maintained well and used correctly — which takes experience more than it takes the latest model.
Customer Service on Human Terms
We do not use ticketing systems or automated replies. When you contact us, you hear from one of the people in the workshop. We take notes on your watch and your preferences, and we keep them so that subsequent visits do not require you to repeat yourself.
If a piece takes longer than expected, we let you know before the original deadline, not after. Small courtesies, but ones that matter.
Value Relative to the Work Done
Our service prices — RM 238 for Heritage Movement Care, RM 285 for Dial & Hand Refresh, and RM 328 for Strap, Case & Comfort Fitting — reflect the time and skill each service genuinely requires.
We do not inflate prices to create the impression of premium service, nor do we offer artificially low prices that make thorough work impossible. What you pay is what the service costs to do properly.

Every Heritage Movement Care service includes a hand-written or typed condition record detailing what was found, what was done, and any care suggestions. Customers keep this with the watch.
No Unnecessary Upselling
We suggest only what a watch genuinely needs. If a strap is adequate for another two years, we say so. Customers appreciate that we do not manufacture reasons to charge more.
Honest Assessment Before Commitment
Walk-in assessments are offered without charge. If we look at a watch and the cost of repair exceeds its worth, we tell you plainly. You are never committed to anything before we discuss it.
